Grading a Peer Review Assignment

Overview

Your peer review is complete, and it's time to grade. Read below about Grading in Canvas, Grading in Another LMS, and Autograding.

Monitoring and Grading in Canvas

  • Go to SpeedGrader.
Speedgrader button in Canvas
  • Select an individual student's name to view and grade their work.
    • [1] Milestones. In this panel, you can see what milestones the student has completed. If auto-grading is enabled, you will see how many points they received for each milestone.
    • [2] Student submission. Here, you will see the student's assignment.
    • [3] Overall feedback. Here you can score and grade the student. If you're using a rubric, you can click View Rubric to access it.

  • Scroll further down to see any reviews the student has left for other students.
    • [1] Student Names. Here you can see who did the review and whose work they were reviewing.
    • [2] Annotations. Here you can see any annotations the student made directly on the work. Click View to see them in the context of the work.

  • Go to Grades & Activity.

  • Here, you can see an overview of who has completed what parts of the peer review process.
