Overview
Harmonize offers a variety of annotation tools for commenting on work that others have posted. However, with Add Annotation, you can use any of these tools to comment on work that you yourself are posting. There are a few situations where you might want to do this:
- You as a student want to add annotations to a file someone gave you. This could happen if someone sends you a video, image, or document directly, and you're supposed to comment on it.
- You as a student need to annotate your own work. Sometimes instructors may ask students to review their own work for the purposes of self reflection and growth.
- You as an instructor want to demonstrate annotation. It's helpful for students to see examples of effective annotation. With the Add Annotation tool, you can demonstrate annotation in the initial assignment instructions.
Regardless of your reason, Add Annotation will allow you to upload media and files, comment on them, and then post.
