Overview
Harmonize maintains a version history for all posts published in your discussion. Instructors are able to view the version history of all student posts, while students are able to view the version history of their own posts.
Accessing Version History from Discussion View
- Navigate to any published post.
- NOTE: Instructors are able to view the version history of all student posts, while students are able to view the version history of their own posts.
- Click on the card to open the expanded view of the post.
- In the expanded view of the post, click the triple-dot menu located in the top right corner and select version history from the menu that appears.
If the student has edited their post, a list of versions will be visible. Click any date listed on the left side of the window to view that version of the student's post
Accessing Version History from the Grading Area
Version history can also be accessed in the grading area.
- Navigate to a student in the grading view. If the post has version history, you will see the number of versions in an orange pill.
- Click the orange pill to open the version history.
- Click any date listed on the left side of the window to view that version of the student's post
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use version history to view posts that a student has deleted?
- No. However, these posts will show up in the Activity View. See Deleting Posts for details.
